How to get started
STEP 1. BEGINNING
1. SELF-INTRODUCTION VIDEO
Please mail us your self-introduction video to
How does it work? Your self-introduction video will be sent to different schools, so the managers of these schools can consider you as a potential candidate for work. Your self-introduction video will be the first contact with potential employees, so it should make a good impression on them.
How to make it?
a. Content. Your self-introduction video should include:
- your educational background;
- your teaching experience (if you had it);
- any of certificates in the teaching field (e.g. TEFL/CELTA/TESOL etc), if you have;
- why did you choose China and why do you want to teach here.
b. Length. It’s better if your self-introduction video is not too long. Usually, self-introduction videos do not exceed 2 minutes.
- positive and smiling applicants are appreciated;
- neat look. Too long hairs or too long beard are usually not welcomed by the managers of the schools.
Please mail us your CV to firstname.lastname@example.org. A CV with your picture is appreciated
STEP 2. INTERVIEW
After considering your Self-Introduction video along with CV
schools would appoint you the interview through WeChat messenger
Why we need WeChat messenger for the interview?
Since WeChat is a widely used messenger in China, it’s mostly the only way to communicate with the Chinese schools.
Why don't use Skype, WhatsApp, Viber or other messengers for the interview?
Most of these messengers don’t work in China, so Chinese schools will not have any other way to reach you.
We will help you to install WeChat.
If you have any problems with downloading this application, we will help you with that.
STEP 3. PREPARING YOUR TRIP TO CHINA
If the interview is successful, the school will sign a contract with you and start working on your visa documents. After you have bought tickets to China, send us your flight details, so we will provide free pick up services for you.
